At Shining Stars, Malvern, Nursery and Preschool, we provide a caring, safe and stimulating environment. We cater for children from 3 months of age until they are ready for primary school. The nursery adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood education and offer enriching and inspiring experiences for your little ones. These experiences are shaped by highly motivated early years practitioners who tune in to what interests your child and how they can build on these interests to encourage learning and development. Our practitioners work in partnership with parents and outside professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children are achieved. The practitioners at Shining Stars Malvern Nursery and Preschool are committed to safeguarding the well-being of the children in our care at all times.
Our aim is to provide children with all the skills and knowledge they need to confidently move to the next stage of their journey in learning and development as well as having lots of fun along the way too.
We’re About The Little People…
QUALIFIED STAFF
We provide a high ratio of 1 staff to every 4 children aged 2 and 1 staff to every 8 children aged 3 and over. We assign a Key Person to each toddler with responsibility for all aspects of your child’s needs both physical and educational.
PRACTICAL LEARNING
Shining Stars Nursery & Preschool delivers bespoke exercises designed to stimulate language development, singing and imaginative play and to increase children’s confidence in their use of language to express themselves and their ideas.
PARENTS WELCOME
Shining Stars Nursery and Preschool invests considerable resources and funds to regular, clear & focussed reporting to parents. You will receive regular updates on your child’s progress complete with annotations & photographs of key developmental steps. You can meet with staff to talk about your child’s progress & will be invited to attend regular parents evenings.
REGULAR EVENTS
During the holidays we provide fun and care for your children so you can go to work and know your childcare needs are all sorted. Various activities and outings are arranged and we can tailor these to meet current trends and interests your child may have.

PHYSICAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT
We are fortunate to have a large open playground at the rear of the premises, a playground at the front of the premises as well as access to a very large meadow and woodland area at the rear of the location. These provide lots of opportunities for children to be active.
Creative and Expressive Arts
Our pre-school children take a leading role in our public performances throughout the year. These include opportunities to speak and act in public, sing and dance and recite stories and poems. They will safely explore a variety of materials, tools and techniques in art, experimenting with colour, design, texture, form and function. Children will have opportunities to create both 2D and 3D objects.
